Objective:
To promote mechanisms and processes that ensure the preservation of critical migratory birds’ habitat in the river basin of the Orinoco river.

Project:
“Establishment of Communitarian Protected Areas for biodiversity conservation in eight communitarian groups of the South Pacifica Coast of Nariño, associated to Recompas” 2005 – 2007
Objective:
To build a normative foundation for the infrastructure and management a Communitarian Natural Reserves system, for nature conservation (plants, animals, water sources, forests, mangroves, etc.) and its use in eight Communitarian groups of Recompas.

Gabriel Arango Restrepo Foundation –FUNDEGAR- 2003-2005 To investigate, promote and disclose the flora and fauna of the hydrographic and forest Reserves: Blanco river, La Fe, Romerales and San Antonio, suppliers of the Manizales aqueduct; and the promotion of Natural Reserves of the civil society located in the departments of Caldas, Quindío and Risaralda.
National Natural Parks Special Management Unit –UAESPNN- 2000 -2005 To combine efforts for the promotion of Natural Reserves of the Civil Society in strategic areas and buffer zones of Natural National Parks, considering connectivity principles among protected areas, and common benefits in conservation issues, sustainable production and social weave development.
Private conservation tools Interinstitutional group G-4 WWF, TNC, Natura Foundation, Red. 2002- 2005 To strengthen the interinstitutional cooperation among the organizations, and to join efforts in activities, programs and projects that support the contribution of the civil society in biodiversity and natural resources conservation, that further build a vision and general strategies for this issue in Colombia.
Amazon Scientific Research Institute –SINCHI- 2003-2005 To promote the creation, research and management of Natural Reserves of the civil society, and to join efforts in activities, programs and projects that encourage the involvement of the civil society in biodiversity and natural resources conservation. This includes the promotion of environmentally sound production and the construction of a social weave, which strengthens the supply of environmental and social goods and services offered by the Natural Reserves.
Sustainable livestock production systems Research Center – CIPAV-2003 – 2005 To promote the creation, research and management of Natural Reserves of the civil society and to join efforts in activities, programs and projects that encourage the involvement of the civil society in biodiversity and natural resources conservation. This includes the promotion of sustainable production and the construction of a social weave, which strengthens the supply of environmental and social goods and services offered by the Natural Reserves.
National Private Forests Corporation of Ecuador 2004 – 2006 To join institutional efforts for the planning, design and implementation of strategies, programs and projects that support the Natural Reserves of the civil society in Colombia and the Private Reserves in Ecuador.
Valle University Indefinite and Santiago de Cali University To establish the terms and conditions that will regulate the accomplishment of student practices and/or thesis work for the University within Resnatur of natural Reserves.
